Experience the heartbeat of Japanese drumming resonating throughout the Adult High School Auditorium on Saturday, April 4, as Oto-Wa Taiko celebrates 20 years of bringing taiko performing arts to the National-Capital Region. This special 20th Anniversary "ARIGATO" Concert honours the tremendous community support we have received over the past two decades of establishing a taiko tradition in Ottawa.
An active contributor to the Ottawa performing arts scene, Oto-Wa Taiko will present a rich variety of traditional pieces, arrangements and original compositions in a powerful programme of dynamic rhythms. The concert will also feature a short performance by Dagaku, Ottawa's very own children's taiko group and the future of the taiko performing arts community for the next 20 years to come.

All proceeds from the Concert will be used to send Oto-Wa Taiko members to the International Taiko Friendship Festival to be held in Sendai, Japan. For the first time since its founding, Oto-Wa Taiko has been invited to perform in Japan.
Individual and corporate sponsorships to support this trip by helping to defray the production costs of our concert would be greatly appreciated. Individual sponsors will be issued a charitable receipt and acknowledged in the concert program and on our web site.
Corporate sponsorships at the $200 level or above will be thanked through the insertion of a business sized ad in the concert program and on our web site.
